BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:(Tools of the Trade)
SotD Records brings forth The Collection Vol. I: Tools of the Trade which features the EPs Shocking The Priest by Royal Anguish, Farewell To The Flesh by Soul of the Savior and closing things up is Face Of God by Tortured Conscience. 12 tracks and 45 minutes of death and death influnced thrash metal,TC is like the heaviest and most brutal band on this CD. They're incredible. If you think Christian Deathmetal sucks, then try these guys. They are awesome. You must buy this. TC is definately the best artist on this CD. Just buy it!!! From northern California comes what is probably the fastest and most brutal band that Christian death metal has ever seen! Aside from the production, this 3 song outing is filled with some insane blast beats and crazy double bass, matched with insane chainsaw driven guitar work. Every song has an intro and I see they all came from the same movie. It adds quite an interesting flavor for the musical bludgeoning that's to come!,"A pretty solid compilation worth owning if you like to sample diversity in the death metal ranks.

REVIEW(Every Knee Shall Bow)
Brutal, technical, grinding death metal bleeds from Tortured Conscience's full length debut. Featuring members of technical grind act Vulgar Pigeons, Tortured Conscience assaults the senses with their own flavor of brutality. The guitars are huge and heavy, tthe drumming and blastbeats are insane, and the vocals come from the depths of hell. The pace rarely lets up, and even the occasional slower sections are still like dropping a ten ton cinder block on your head. In addition to the 9 original tracks, Tortured Conscience also covers "Crucify" by 80's thrashy metallers Bloodgood, and you can be guaranteed not to have heard this song this heavy before. Tortured Conscience is recommended for fans of Vadar, Kataklysm, Dying Fetus, Vulgar Pigeons, Nile, and those that like their metal heavy enough to implode their intestines,This band sounds like Aborted and Suffocation if they played Christian Metal. All tracks on this album are blatantly God-fearing, brutal gospel music. This is the most brutal Christian band I have ever shredded my stapes to and I love it! If you're into Grindcore/Brutal Death Metal, this is a bloody gem of an album,Some of the sickest death metal around and that is meant in the best possible way. Bombworks records is finding some skull crushing bands with a lot of talent. Hope people discover this stuff.
