BIOGRAPHY/REVIEW:(Inversion)
well it all started at Biola university. a few and i mean of us guys there we're into metal. myself ( jairus ), Jeff, Roland, and Nathan. Roland introduced me to Jeff and Nathan and we decided to try and write some songs and try to get on a comp album, just to prove that Christians could shred as well as anyone. . . it turned out to be a venture that became a very well loved underground death metal outfit called Inversion. . . over the next few years Inversion went through some member changes. Nathan left for educational and occupational reasons and quickly after that jeff and I were looking for other folks. As luck would have it Justin and Mike had just started at Biola and were looking to sink their teeth into some pure metal madness. Also to our surprise Justin had a friend named Raymond who was a machine gun on the Drums. and so with jeff shredding, mike throwing the low end, myself handling the low growls, justin hitting shrieks that gives dani filth fits and raymond beating the kit: Inversion was ready to rip some faces up!!.

REVIEW:
They were young on the pic below, and this shows it. The improvement with their next album is very, very evident, Man, this was a pleasant surprise! I usually don't care much for death metal with this kind of Growling Vocals (sounds like an over-hungry stomach!), but these guys really are different. Sounding a bit like bands such as Obituary and Cannibal Corpse, they ad elements of black and thrash metal to keep it interesting. It's not full speed all the time, but tempo-changes and use of different vocal-styles are also key ingredients. They have even made room for An Acoustic Ballad, with Clean Vocals!! The production is also quite good for an independent-release. 'The Nature Of Depravity' gave me the same feeling as hearing Biogenesis and Ultimatum for the first time, no comparison in style to these bands though. Inversion is a band I will pay attention to, 'cause I suspect we will be hearing more from them! Killer Tracks: "Unsung Hero" & "Thieves", "Damnation Undone" By the way do not know if the album " ECHOES OF ETERNITY" Is one incoming album I Just took it from their Myspace pics, anyway hope it will...this band brings me to mind " Deracination" And Decision D Another Great Christian Death Metal Band underground there(
