REVIEW FOR SOUL FIRE ALBUM:
This has got to be my favorite CD I own. Soulfire has a great beat throughout. Boomerang is definitely the best song on the album. It takes a while to understand the lyrics, but I quickly found myself as well as my kids singing songs from the album throughout the day. The message is uplifting. Not for the weak at heart. listen to this CD at least once a day. It uplifting and makes me really remember The Father and The Teachings. The lyrics and beat of each song blend together just right to make you want to groove to this bands every song."Give A Little One Love" should have been a hit song - it is infectious and easy to love. Other favorite songs - "Listening", "Christafari", "Sitting and Watching (Fly Away)", "Inside Burning", "Come Children", "Spirit Cry", plus the high-powered title track. There are no duds here. If you get this CD, you won't be sorry.

REVIEW FOR VALLEY OF SECISION ALBUM:
This recording is a blessing for those who wish to open their minds and hearts to receive what it has to offer. Culturally legitimate and filled with praises and wisdom, it's one of the best reggae albums I've ever heard. Running the gamut from roots to dancehall, this band is poised to spread Jah message to the reggae community and beyond that "every knee haffe bow an every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." Believe it brethren and sistren- this is authentic, tried and true conscious reggae and has the makings of a classic. "Jungle Inna Babylon" is a hard-hitting track about how the wicked system will fall "brick by brick" propelled by a wicked jungle riddim interspersed with a "one-drop" chorus. Baddddd! A thunderous dub track called "Freedom Dub" will give your woofers a workout and lift your spirit to heigher heights. There's not a bad pick in the bunch and Johnny Guerrero's horn charts are blazing along with Bill Kasper's amazing guitar work. Grab this album now! Jah Guide. I first heard this on a gray morning in a local coffee house. Within seconds, my spirits were lifted by the tropical rhythms and the essential joy of the music. I was not alone. Everyone in the place was smiling, keeping time to the music, and enjoying life, at 7:15 in the morning! The lyrics reflect Christian faith. The music reflects joy. Christafari, lead by Mark Mohr, has great music and a great message. .Sort of poppish Raggae, that's upbeat and unique in that it insn't an imitation of some other group (that I Know of). It is Christian, and has a good message that a Christian can relate to. The music and style can probably keep most people listening even though there are Christian themes in the lyrics. Get it.

REGGAE WORSHIP FIRST FRUITS ALBUM:
Reggae Worship: The First Fruits of Christafari is a repackaged, remastered version of the now unavailable Reggae Worship Vol.1 album. Several tracks, including new and old previously unreleased material are also included. Reggae Worship: The First Fruits of Christafari is a terrific archive of the history of the group as well as a few new gems- all of which proclaim the gospel message and give praise to the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. However, the collection falls short in that the sound quality of the older material just isn't as good as that of later Christafari efforts, though it's certainly not bad. Remember that this album includes the very first musical offerings of Christafari, so some shortcomings in production are understandable. Erik Sundin and Jai Pach share lead vocals along with Tansoback (Mark Mohr), who handles all DJ vocals. Some standout tracks include the raggamuffin track "Jesus First", "Wisdom" and the African-flavoured version of "Lord I Lift Your Name On High". However, when Pach (who left the group after Soulfire to pursue another ministry) is in the role of lead vocalist, the songs just aren't as effective. This is not to say that Pach doesn't have a good voice, but that it just isn't quite suited for the reggae genre. Vocally, there are certain tonal and textural qualities which add an "authentic" feel to reggae songs. Therefore, "Jah Is I Light", "I Holy One" and "Majesty" (though the socalypso feel is nice) just don't make the impact of the stronger material. Reggae Worship also contain some excellent new material include the roots tracks "Armageddon" which features prophetical lyrics about the end times with Sundin's earthy soulful voice and a crucial dub poetry passage by Tansoback. This tune which was recorded as one the band's very first tunes, has a late seventies/early eighties feel. "Preach The Gospel", a track recorded during the WordSound&Power album sessions is outstanding, including an alternating one drop/steppers riddim, great lyrics and solid playing all around. The lyrics, "preach the gospel/use words when necessary" and "you've got to live it with your life" are as true to the mission of Christfari as anything they've done. As usual, this is a NO COMPROMISE evangelistic, doctrinally sound and confrontational (i.e. not passive, not background music) effort from Christafari. Yes, it's a mixed bag, but the fruits that are the best are well worth the tasting. By the way, the excellent paintings and liner notes that adorn the package are almost worth the investment themselves!

GRAVITY ALBUM:
An annointed work, beautiful and full of Christ - it's just NOT watered down. The lyrics are honest and full of scripture, I can highly recommend it. It's definitely an album that grows on you, take the time to hear it out! Be sure the enemy of the cross will speak out against this blessing, after reading the first "comment" for this album I had to post up my thoughts. .The four year wait between albums has been well worth the wait. Mark Mohr and his band has come out of their haitus with the best Christafari album to date. Mohr takes the listener on a wonderful journey not only through the unique rhythms of reggae music that is Christafari's trademark but through scripture and personal journeys. It has depth, heart and truth. Whoever listens to this album can't help but be encouraged and blessed through the listening(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
