120 Decibels formed in Kansas City in early 1993 by co-founders, singer Eddie Williams and guitarist Steve Chaisson. In late 1993 the line up was completed with the addition of two brothers, bassist Vince Cirillo and drummer James Cirillo. The band's number one goal was to reach the lost for Christ with hard rock music that contained evangelical lyrics. The band rehearsed tirelessly, and performed in the greater Kansas City area. 120 dBS saw people of all ages come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior at every show, ranging from coffee houses to outdoor shows in a secular setting. Lead singer Eddie Williams would pull no punches as he proclaimed the gospel in between songs and at the end of the show. Although 120 dBS were never signed to a major label, they delivered a major league message regardless who was around. 120 dBS is not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation.

http://www.freewebs.com/120dbs/ I dug this band and I found a little familliar their Debut to the following bands(CROSSFIRE)-N-(APOSTLE)(as for me they have had a great debut, the great debut were similary to crossfire'n'Apostle bands, even though they had their own style, the track-(til I met you)from their debut remind me the 70s on the hippies era,not bad debut at all,so far, fans of CROSSFIRE AND APOSTLE will love this band, this Debut, won't let you be desapointed ,about their second released,THE GLAMBLER-have a little resemblance to their Debut but stronger and more mature with more screamingvoices, you can occasionally hear Guitar Solos that will impress you,as well on their Debut,(the thirds albums is the best-wow guys, here is where they were really wanted to be,ORIGINAL,A MATURE BAND,THEIR OWN STYLE,Crossfire'n'Apostle Traces Were Meltdown from them, and with the TRACK-GO TO HELL,they were really rocking as a masterpeace metal band, with Great solos, great Screaming voices,THE volcalist he was really on the way to be on the HILL with any metal bands, leading the awesome underground band that let me chilled ,wanting more, how could it be they were out of the eyes of the METALEROS,oh !!HOMBRES!! a shame, these bands are undergroung as many others,I could imagine this band where they should have been if they were sighed on PURE METAL,ENIGMA,ROYAL,OR at least Regency records, with a higher level on this last DEMO,adding the first album, their Debut,a diferent History I would have been telling,WELL my last word after all are on this, simply great band, great metal, thanks guys for this last Effort that will finally pulled you up,and let us the see more of you in all your work,as well I would say that I admired the passion for the lord, and the great christian lyrics, there's no Doubts Where They Wanted to be and where you were standing for,MY FOVOOOOOOOOOOOO-TRACK-GO-TO HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.This is a strong band with strong Christian lyrics. They remind me of Apostle, but they do have their own unique style for sure. The Light is their best work, and I wish they would have put out another album after that! Anyway, if you like 80's metal along the lines of the Metal Mardi Gras lineup of 87, you will certainly dig their work(http://www.holymetalrob.com/)
