ising Cross is A Christian band formed in October 2000 in GoiĆ¢nia (Brazil), aiming to take the God's word through her music: the Heavy Metal! With the major musical influences of the scene names Christian and secular, composed music and performed concerts in his homeland, as well as in other cities and states, in festivals like Hallel and Rock in Cristo.The band 's name came from a play of words "Rising the Cross" in the controversy that the world fold, which is the forgetfulness of Christ, that death on the cross came in to bring us salvation. With attributes such as heavy riffs while the melody on the side, Rising Cross has many bands as an influence, such as Iron Maiden, Manowar, Dark Avanger, Primal Fear, Black Sabbath, Rob Rock, Stryper, Eterna, Iced Earth, Grave Digger and many others.Having as initial training Danilo Mafra (Guitar), soon replaced by Magno Cunha, Divino Lima (Keyboard), Eduardo Guttemberg (Drums), Junior Melo (Bass), Lucas Bittencourt (Guitar), Paulo Melo (Vocals), Rising Cross went through several changes in her line-up. In February 2004, Junior Melo leaves the band, later being replaced by Clerio Murbach in April 2004. Around April 2007, Thiago Garcia took the Guitars of the band replacing Lucas Bittencourt. Later, Eduardo Gutemberg (Drums) also leaves the band.In September 2007, Rising Cross contact Geovani Maia (producer and owner of Fantom Studio) to recording her debut album(with Clerio Murbach also assuming the Drums in the recordings) that later, for not yet having any work released, decided to launch first a demo CD, called Trumpets of Victory, and only later to launch the CD Debut. For particular reasons, in January 2008, after some tests, Thiago Garcia (Guitar) leaves Rising Cross and Geovani Maia (Producer and Studio Fantom owner) offers to finish the guitar's recordings, which was well done.
